The LASIK Vision Institute

Just recently got LASIK on Friday 8/4/23 and here today for my follow up visit. My vision is actually better than 20/20 now!! So happy with the results! I don’t ever remember a time where I have ever been able to see clearly and as years went by the worse my vision got. The second the procedure was done I was able to see! No more blurred images!! It was such a surreal moment! Everyone there was so nice and helpful, from the receptionist to my doctor! Very caring and concerned about how I felt going into it. Highly recommend!! 😎 Worth every Penny!!

After so many years of wanting to do Lasik. I finally took that leap of faith and allowed Dr. January and his staff to work their magic on my eyes. Jamming out on Surgery Day was pretty neat. They took Amazing care of me!! I am still in disbelief of NOT having to reach for my glasses as soon as I wake up. For sure this is the place to come and one of THE BEST things to do for YOURSELF!!! Here is my review for everyone. Well, let’s go with this. It was great to check all the numbers double before they say you are qualified and you are set for surgery. I like that they double-check my eyes and numbers. My appointment was at 11, and my surgery was at 2:05, so imagine they took time to check my eyes; of course, there was a waiting period, but it was not that bad. Today, after one rest, I am here for my follow-up appointment to check my eyes to see if it has healed or how I feel. Well, I can see correctly without my glasses, and after five years of struggle, I can see without my glasses. If you remember that scene from the movie Spiderman 1, spide got their eyes fixed by a spider bite, and I got a fix from Lasik vision bite in my eye. I feel great, and you should think about it too.

I greatly appreciate everyone here that accommodated me and my million and one questions about my procedure. This place is elegant and clean. It made me feel at ease. They have payment plans to help with your finance questions or you can pay all outright. If you have insurance, they do reduce the amount. This is a HUGE thank you to the ALL front desk staff, ALL the medical assistants, Vicky, Cindy, Dr. Tran, Dr. Joseph, and Tracy. They all had great attitudes and was very knowledgeable about the lasik process. I loved how I was only under the laser process for less than about 10 minutes. I was questioning as if the procedure was done already! That’s how fast it was! I’d do it again if it came down to it. The recovery period was super quick (4+ hours of sleep) and I was able to see clearly the very same night! The warm welcome and informative responses from all personnel helped me with this decision. You guys deserve more praise than what I’m giving! If you are looking to improve your vision, I’d HIGHLY recommend this institute for everyone. 5 STARS!

Great service and super friendly. They provide such a great service to the point that you feel at home and less worried or stressed about the process. My process was so fast and easy. Vision was instant and my life was changed instantly. I had been wearing glasses since I was a little girl in first grade making it almost 15-20 years of bad vision with astigmatism. Now I can see so clearly that I am still in shock as to how fast I was able to gain eyesight. This place was recommended by a friend and I would highly suggest it!

I had my surgery in Austin and my follow-up exam at this location. The location is somewhat difficult to find and the main office could do a better job of communicating where this office is. When I entered the office, the receptionist was kind enough but was not very friendly. When I was moved to another waiting area, I noticed the chairs in the area were dirty and the rug was filthy. It doesn't really inspire confidence when a doctor's office looks like this. While I was waiting, the women working in the office (techs, admins?) were in the operating room, which you can see into from this area. They were taking a group picture and making a huge amount of noise laughing and joking with each other. This just gave me a sense of this office not being very professional. Honestly, I was glad I had my procedure in another location.

Lasek Vision Institute is a very great place to get your vision fixed! They were kind, compassionate, and honest. While I didn't like the procedure itself, i know that the staff here made it a net positive for me. If you’re considering getting lasek, just come here and trust the staff. All of them will guide you through it. Also, Dr. January is absolutely phenomenal, he has years and years of experience and so many procedures under his belt. I was definitely scared but I knew I was in good hands.
